Micro-etching Recycle Copper Electrolysis System Ⅰ、Technology Introduction There are three types of micro-etching liquid, H2SO4+Na2S2O8 , H2SO4+H2O2 and HNO₃, which are widely used in PCB surface processing, like PTH process, electroplating, inner pretreatment process, green oil pretreatment process, OSP and so on.Our company developed a micro-etching liquid recycle system to recycle the micro-etching liquid.Firstly, decrease the redox potential of micro-etching liquid, and then separate micro-etching liquid and copper ion by direct current to get high purity copper metal. After electrolysis process to remove the copper ion, the micro-etching liquid could return to the production line by adding few supplements.With compact volume and few investment, the system could create high value for the factory by easy operation.

By converting electrical energy into chemical energy, there is electrolytic reaction in the system. The system is as below: *electrolysis system *micro-etching recycle system * adjustment and auto-adding chemicals system ØAdjustment:Micro etching waste (copper content is about 25g/L) from all the production line will flow into equipment’s groove and do electrolytic reaction. After electrolysis, the hydrogen peroxide content will be 2g/L. Ø Electrolysis:By the reaction of anode and cathode,the copper ion in the waste will be transformed into copper panels.If micro-etching liquid recycle to the production line, the copper ion will be 5g/L after electrolysis. But if do not recycle the liquid, the copper ion should be less than 0.5g/L after electrolysis and then waste will be discharged into wastewater treatment station. Ø Adjustment:The left micro-etching liquid with 5g/L copper ion will be discharged into adjustment groove. After adding hydrogen peroxide and other chemical supplements, the micro-etching liquid could recycle to the production lines. Ⅲ、Equipment Parameters

It has better micro-etching effect than normal sulfuric acid-SPS and sulfuric acid-hydrogen peroxide. After micro-etching process, the panel surface is rough, even and clean, so copper surface could be combined with printing ink or film more powerful. Ⅱ、Process Control & Maintenance 1、Chemical Maintenance LD-W-002 is consisted of LD-W-002M as opening cylinder chemical and LD-W-002T as supplement. Normally, factory use auto-adding method and monitor and adjust by chemical analysis. LD-W-002 can be adjusted according the difference of equipment, panel design style and computer program. A reference range is 5~10ml LD-W-002/㎡. Usually factory do not need to change the liquid in the groove. So it can realize “zero” discharge, and decrease waste water treatment pressure. Collect some liquid in the temporary storage groove periodically until to the opening cylinder volume. So it is real clean production. 002 temporary storage groove is mainly used for fast change of chemical liquid when there are some other impact factors. 2、Equipment Maintenance: Clean up and maintain the groove periodically. When cleaning, please collect and store the liquid. We usually suggest clean up the groove once time within 6 to 12 month. The frequency can depends on clean condition. 3、Safety: Avoid directly touch and inhalation. Don’t use polluted cloth. Alkaline Etching Liquid Recycle & Copper Recovery System
Technology Introduction: Our equipment adopts chemical extraction-film process-electrolysis technology. First, extract copper ion from the etching liquid. Then by film processing and adjustment, recover etching ability and return the production line to use. Lastly, get the copper metal by electrolysis. Brown Waste Copper Electrolysis Eco System Background: For brown waste, tradition method is adding chemicals to get precipitation, but cost is very high and added value is low. But if use traditional electrolysis method, the cathode surface will generate a film because of large volume of corrosion inhibitor in the brown waste, which will add resistance and increase power usage as well as prevent copper depositing on the cathode surface. Meanwhile, the complex morphology copper ion in the brown waste could not be electrolysis directly. To solve these difficult problems, we develop a new brown waste copper electrolysis system to pre-process the brown waste and then recover the copper.
